Welcome to the travels of Mimi and Jonna. This is primarily a place for us to put our travel photos and to keep our friends and family up to date on where we are, where we've been lately and what we think of it all. Everyone is welcome to browse the site, please send us email if you enjoy it.

Our home and main means of travel is our wonderful Lazy Daze RV, we've named her Tortuga. She's our travel turtle, with everything we need on her back. We ordered her in February 2001 and picked her up from the factory on September 13, 2001. We now live fulltime in Tortuga, usually traveling in the US in the summer and in Mexico in the winter.

We sold our home in San Anselmo, Marin County, California in July 2004. It was a big decision but has been an incredibly freeing move. Getting rid of 20 years of "stuff" and the hassle and responsibilities of that house feels wonderful!

We also have a condo in Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Akumal is a small town about 65 miles south of Cancun on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. We have been going to Akumal on vacations for about 13 years, about 6 years ago we bought our piece of paradise. We are rarely there all winter, as we originally planned, because the lure of the road keeps us traveling.

So, come on in and look around. We've got a lot of pictures from our travels and copies of the travel letters we send when we are on the road. I hope you enjoy your visit.

We've started a blog! Sending out the travel emails got to be too much of a hassle so we using blogger and posting our travels on a more or less daily basis via the blog. Click Blog to go to our blog page. There is a link there in the right sidebar to subscribe to the blog.
