The outbreak of swine flu should be renamed “Mexican” influenza in deference to Muslim and Jewish sensitivities over pork, said an Israeli health official Monday.
That’s got to be one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve read lately. Whenever they try to mix religion and science it just comes out stupid. If your god has problems with pork, tell him not to use pigs to mutate diseases. Shit, tell him to skip disease altogether since he’s god.
