Even the mannequins are checking their junk. It is a joyful time to be in México, that is true all over the country. This last week of celebrations for the Virgen de Guadalupe culminated yesterday. The joy and the love that surrounds every manifestation of her seems to permeate the air. It has many of the same beliefs and traditions as in the rest of Mexico but it also has some things that are different, it’s done the Mayan way. One of the traditional foods usually eaten on the 1st of November is Mucbil [...] We returned to Mérida for the ¡Grito! and the Independence holiday. We’ve been in other cities and towns for this most important of holidays but never in Mérida, I really wanted to be here. The Amazing Race is taking votes on which Latin American country to hold the next race. It is between Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and México.
