Blogs I Read

returning from our unscheduled break

life in the fast lane

life in the fast lane

Sometimes life just gets in the way of a good internet addiction.  Or, the blogging juices dry up.  Or, anything you might want to write about you figure you probably shouldn’t.   I’ve had all of those things going this past two weeks.

I’ve also been really busy.  I’m doing a lot of things I enjoy, working on the ponds, walking around the mercado, hanging out with friends.   Nothing too spectacular but interesting to me, I just wasn’t sure they would be all that interesting to you.

Once a couple of days go by, it is really hard to start again.  I’ve been here before.   I know that the answer is to just write something, anything, and then go on from there.   Voila!

  • Glad to hear that you have been enjoying yourself. But glad to see you back too!

  • Totally understand – been there too! But glad to know you’re ok, that was my concern. Such pretty picture of your patio – some of my favorite colors. You and Mimi have such great taste.

Good to be reading you again…. and what a beautiful sitting area. Tita looks just like our cat R2, I’d like to imagine that one day we’ll be down there, she’ll be down there….

  • Tita was a year old on May 5th, she’s all grown up now. She’s not a large cat, but she has filled out. She still walks like a raccoon, we don’t know why that is.

That is the area in front of the door to our bedroom, it’s a landing with doors to the laundry room and the guest bath as well. I just planted that philodendron there and hope to train it up the old kitchen gate. I’m kind of pleased with how it is looking now.

  • Missed you! Glad you are back and love the sitting room as well..especially the color. Pond is looking beautiful..is that a turtle? Cheers Sherry

  • No, no turtles. They eat fish and plants. I could handle some fish eating but touch my lilies and I BBQ you :)

  • I loved your house when we saw it before you moved in and it just keeps getting better and better.

  • Thanks Billie, can’t wait for you and Ned to visit again.
