I can get used to what ever format you use, it just takes me awhile to catch on. I didn't think about the fact that it makes it faster to load since you do use photos on most of your posts.
Remember it takes 30 days to make a new habit, so retraining me probably takes longer than that!

love the flamboyan trees-they are absolutely beautiful. we had one in our yard when we first moved to miami but my dad got tired of raking, and he chopped it down. i hope i get the opportunity to visit merida someday.

Jonna, off topic as usual. But I went back to vote AGAIN for Mexico as the venue for the Amazing Race and saw we were at 42% ... against Colombia's 43%!

It's your blog, Jonna. Format it however you like. I am retired. I can manage an extra click initially.

I, on the other hand, like the "click to continue" format -- I like the convenience of being able to view the comments, and being able to make a comment without the onerous effort of an extra click. I also like being able to scroll down and see the headers for the previous posts. This format (headers and click to continue) is particularly good for those who tend to post long entries and/or include a lot of photos. If the entries are typically shorter (one short paragraph), it wouldn't matter.
Of course, I am, by nature (or nurture) a contrarion.

OK! I concede that the 'more' tag is not working out. I won't use it anymore. John, the original idea is that many people read blogs via RSS and even those who read it at the blog site don't see the comments without a further click. This puts you on the individual post's page with comments and at my site. I thought it would make it easier to comment but I think it is just pissing people off. Some things work, some don't. This one didn't.

Steve, the Flamboyen trees are just spectacular and some are alongside the Lluvia de Oro which makes it even more incredible. They are commonly used as street trees here so there are many streets covered by these gorgeous blooms. I've been trying to remember the corners I want to go back to for pics. Maybe today.

I don't think our flamboyan trees are in bloom, yet. There is one just around the corner. I would check on my morning walk with Jiggs, but he is showing absolutely no interest in moving outside the gate.

I agree with Calypso, sometimes I don't realize that there is more and forget to click. Then I have to go back and start all over.

That introductory thing just adds another click to the equation - if I didn't
want to read the whole thing why would I be here to begin with? Just saying...
