Moon Path over the Caribbean
We’re back at the beach for a few days. It was a nice drive over, it rained a little around Valladolid and then there was mist rising off the road in the moonlight.
The moon over the water is hypnotic. It was late when we got here as we brought a friend over and drove her to Playa before coming home. We stopped for some arrachera to go at HC de Monterrey and when we got home I sat on the deck with my food, my camera and the Mexican national drink, tequila and Squirt.
Yes, it is cooler over here. I forget that.
My God that picture is breathtaking.
I have to wait until later in the night (or early morning) this month to get a moon reflection on the Pacific, but it is soul-soothing.
argh! I had to edit the post to change Sprite to Squirt. I know the difference in taste and the look of the bottle but I always seem to get the names confused. Squirt and tequila are the most common cocktail in Mexico, it’s a man’s drink as well as a woman’s. It sounds horrid, but try it, it tastes great.
